So far, in line with the values that Sima lives by, The Wellbeing Practice has been involved in supporting the following charities:
- SOS Children’s Villages for 12 consecutive years.
- Water Aid for 23 consecutive years.
- Find Your Feet – July 2016
Well, it’s rare that we take a phone call such as yours, what a brilliant start to our week and a wonderful boost to our work! Thank you so much.
We are so grateful for this generous amount, and we feel privileged that you chose from amongst many to benefit from the 4th Anniversary of your business.
Find Your Feet help people living in poverty in Asia and Africa to build a future free from poverty by helping them to grow more food so they don’t go hungry, earn more income so they can pay for the essentials of life, and to strengthen their voice so they can speak out against injustice. Your donation is enough to support 18 Self-Help Groups for women living in remote, rural villages in India. The groups provide local women with the skills and knowledge they need to start savings and loan schemes, helping them to set up small businesses, and boost family income. So thanks to your support, women like those from Udalbani village in Jharkhand will be able to provide enough food for their families all year round.“
- British Heart Foundation
- Macmillan Cancer Research
- Dolphin House Clinic – through Sima’s Land’s End to John O’Groats bike ride covering 1000 miles in two weeks in August 2015 and a donation in July 2016 to celebrate The Wellbeing Practice’s 4th birthday.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind, most unexpected and extremely generous donation to Dolphin House Charity. Your extra donation on top of the money you raised last year in your epic sponsored cycle, and in addition to the rent money you pay to Dolphin each month as a private practitioner is amazing! All the support you have provided, and continue to provide, makes a HUGE difference to the ongoing survival and sustainability to the Dolphin House Charity.“
