Learning Difficulties Assessments

Wellbeing Learning Difficulties Assessments

We can assess students and adults for:

  • Dyslexia
  • Dyspraxia (fine motor skills)
  • Dyscalculia
  • Dysgraphia
  • Giftedness including the use of questionnaires.
  • Emotional wellbeing (anxiety, self-concept, lack of confidence, fear of failure)
  • Examination Access Arrangements
  • Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) for students in post 16 education.

If you are a student embarking on your course in further education, our focused DSA assessment and report can provide you (if you are eligible) with the necessary evidence to apply for the Disabled Student Allowance. This could open the door to providing you with additional learning support as well as funding for special equipment.

If you are an adult in employment or seeking work, we can assess you, taking full account of your employment history and specific circumstances, for learning difficulties. The report and analysis can provide you (if you are eligible) with clear substantive evidence for the support you may need from your employer to help you in your job.

The assessment report will explain where your difficulties and strengths are, and through better understanding of yourself, show how you can mould your future more effectively. Recommendations will give suggestions for support material, including books and web references, computer-based packages and assistive technology.

Dear Sima,

Thank you for the very comprehensive and extremely useful educational psychologist report following Henry’s assessment.

The report will also be shared with the ‘School Head’ and Henry’s new teacher; I’m sure it will help us all have a better understanding given the useful insights you have revealed.

We really valued the kind, considerate manner and professionalism in which you conducted Henry’s assessment.

He enjoyed meeting you, in fact we all did.

I wish you every success with you thesis and business, you provide an excellent service.

Please let me know if your contact details change, as we’d like to revisit you for advice in the future.

Kind regards,

Ivan and Sarah
